Holistic Figure’s Banana Bread Recipe

Ingredients: (Organic ingredients if possible)

  • 1.5 cups wholemeal spelt flour
  • 1 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp bicarbonate soda
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 1/2 crushed walnuts or choc chips
  • 2 whisked eggs
  • 3 medium just about ripe bananas
  • 1tsp vanilla essence
  • 1tbs liquid coconut oil

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC
  2. Mix dry ingredients in one bowl
  3. Mix wet ingredients in another bowl
  4. Pour dry ingredients into the bow with the wet ingredients
  5. Pour mixture into a silicone 21x10cm bread tray
  6. Decorate with toppings as you like
  7. Bake in oven for just under 1hour
  8. Poke with wooden stick to test dryness if stick does out dry means banana bread is ready
  9. Let tray rest aside to cool for 15minutes
  10. Remove banana bread from tray and let sit further 15minute before slicing servings
  11. ENJOY!
